I WON ANOTHER CART!!!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG! I won another cart today at the Provocraft Twitter weekly giveaway! I do believe I will have to make my first video post a little later of my happy dance because winning a cart today from Provocraft and a cart right before Christmas from the gals over at Christmas with the Cricut is just AMAZING! Today I won the STAMPED cart!!! WOOT WOOT!

My first scrapbook page!

Well..... I have debated posting this for a week as it is truly unfinished. I would like to add a goal post, maybe a GO 22! or a TOUCHDOWN here or there. I'd REALLY love to add a football player from a Paper Dolls cart but alas.... I do not have a Paper Dolls cart yet :(  . Maybe some wonderful scrappin' lady out there would like to send me one?! A football paper doll, not the cart, lol.  How awesome would THAT be! I may just have to post that on the cricut message board! So enjoy, suggest and umm.... contribute! LOL. Oh and I almost forgot! I am hoping to drop by the local Michael's today and pick up some red, black, and white buttons AND some black ribbon to add.

Whew! Just in time!

Ok.... so I finished up the glass plates I made for my family! JUST in time for the Christmas gathering and I believe they were a hit. My husband got me a lamp and a bookcase for my craft room, BOTH were DESPERATELY needed! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I'm ready to get back to work on my scrap book page that I had to set aside while I worked on Christmas projects. After my scrapbook page is finished I'll begin working on V-Day cards and then I believe I'll be tackling scrap book layouts for our zoo trip! See you soon, enjoy the photos of the plates and leave me comments!!!

I WON!!!!!!!!!!! I WON I WON I WON!

OK OK! So I never EVER win ANYTHING! I, along with everyone else in the craft world, attended the LIVE broadcast from Christmas with the Cricut ladies Joy, Melanie and Tammy. The giveaways were UNREAL and I won a cart! I am SO excited! It was an hour full of laughs, live demos, giveaways and brief moments of insanity! What a GREAT hour! Megan from Aboverubiesstudio.com called in and contributed FIVE more of her cricut A to Z videos to give away! How awesome is that?! OK, I have MUCH to do and night time is my prime crafting time so leave me comments until next time!

Christmas Etching!!

Well Today I dove right in to glass etching. My practice piece was simply my last name "Swingle" on an old glass baking dish. I was surprised at how easy glass etching was! Rather than using Vinyl, which can be quite expensive, I worked with contact paper that I purchased at Walmart for around $5.50 for I wanna say, a 50 yard roll. Happyhappyjoyjoy has a GREAT video tutorial on glass etching. I don't believe my sister frequents my blog just yet so I think it's safe to post pictures of her Christmas plate here! They just bought their first home and moved in a few months ago so this plate is for that occasion. Enjoy!

Enter................The Sizzix Texture Boutique!

Hello Hello! I MUST tell you all about the FANTABULOUS deal I was blessed with tonight! I have been DYING to add some dry embossing to my cards and scrapbook designs so............ I've been bugging the you know what out of my husband. I FINALLY came across the most recent flyer for the locan AC Moore and noticed they had the Sizzix Texture Boutique for 40% off! That made it 19 bucks and some change! WOOT WOOT! HOWEVER...... when I got there, I discovered that you only got the machine with that price and they were totally out anyway, BUMMER! So I stopped by Michael's where they ALWAYS have them just to see if MAYBE they were on sale there as well... Nope! But never fear! I jerked out my Michael's coupon to see the stipulations in fine print did NOT include Sizzix products! YAY! That meant I'd get the bundle that Michael's offered for 40% off of 39.99..... The wheels continued to turn..... Hopefully everyone knows that Michael's will accept AC Moore coupons. Also, AC Moore tends to give about 10% MORE off than Michael's. There was a 50% off one regular priced item from AC Moore buring a hole in my purse! I whipped that little coupon out, the clerk sunk in defeat! I was able to purchase the sizzix texture boutique, the two plates, the shim and TEN, yes I said TEN embossing folders for 21 dollars!!!!!!!! Oh stupendous joy! See the photo below of what all is included and I have also added a link to the 50% off AC Moore coupon!

And HERE is the link to the coupon!
