Xyron Sticker Maker tutorial and tips!
I put together a quick tutorial on the Xyron 5" sticker maker for a really sweet scrappin momma. Sorry it took so long to get it posted but Youtube decided to give me an error after an hour and twenty minutes so I had to start all over! I hope this helps and watch for the tip on how to get those little "Boogers" off your die cuts BEFORE removing them from the backing!

HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!! I LOVE THIS!!! I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL MIKE GETS HOME AT 3:30 TODAY TO SHOW HIM... DID I MENTION ITS PAYDAY TODAY!!!!! LOVE IT...CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL Melissa, glad it helped!
ReplyDeleteThanks for tip on "boogers". I've got all 4 sizes of xyron and I use them every time I craft, but rubbing off the excess glue by hand is messy and a pain.
ReplyDeleteIt works like a charm Jen! No more rubbing off by hand! Thanks for watching!
ReplyDeleteI have one in each size. I have the larger one also. They are great. I have found sales on the refills. Thank you for the video. It was very helpful on removing the glue.
ReplyDeleteI also have all 4 sizes of the Xyrons and love them, but also hated that sticky residue (AKA Boogers) left behind. I will definitely use your method to get rid of them next time I use my Xyron. Thanks so much.

Maureen I hope you come back and let me know how you like your Xyron!
ReplyDeleteLove my Xyron too- I have the larger one and use it for everything! Probably laminating and magnets the most. My sticky paper I save for actual sticker type projects or large items and use my tacky tape, dots, and such for other things. Great tip though, I always took it as "part of the process" to get the excess out of my cuts... with laminating too I like to cut it out w/ my blade so it has a cleaner look!
ReplyDeleteI have the 5" xyron and haven't been able to use it in the last 6 months. Somehow it came apart inside and won't work! :-( I've searched and can't find videos on how to reload the sticky paper and the back paper - every time I try, I waste more and more! I'm so frustrated so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated it!! HELP!
